What a way to round off the week! Yesterday evening our Scouts rolled up their sleeves for some hands-on woodwork, building their very own bird houses from scratch.
Working away with screwdrivers, they assembled and finished off their boxes – a brilliant test of teamwork, patience and practical skills. The finished bird houses are now ready to head home and give our local birdlife a cosy new place to nest.
With temperatures soaring, we then cooled things down the only sensible way – with a big water game out on the field! Water, soakings and plenty of laughter made for the perfect end to a scorching summer evening.
Another cracking night of Scouting – skills, teamwork and a whole lot of fun. 🛠️
